Black Luster® Steel DIN 985 Metric Insert Lock Nuts

DESCRIPTION - Black Luster® Steel DIN 985 Metric Insert Lock Nuts provide best in class decorative appearance and better corrosion resistance than black oxide and zinc plated finishes. Resistant to 1,000 hours of salt spray per ASTM B117*. Nylon Insert Lock Nuts have a nylon insert that lines a portion of threads inside the nut. The insert’s inner diameter (ID) is slightly smaller than the major diameter of the screw. The nut nylon insert deforms elastically over the threads of the screw to prevent loosening from vibration.
